Is It Time For A New Fire Alarm System?

Testing your fire alarm system might seem like a hassle at first, but the cost of not doing so could be much higher. The last thing you want is for something to happen and your system isn’t working as it should.

Alarms that are too insensitive can’t be relied on to warn employees of danger quickly enough. Alarms that are too sensitive can be annoying and become harmful to productivity. In addition, sensitive alarms can create a false sense of security among your building’s occupants, making them take the threat of real danger less seriously. 

Both of these can be very harmful and should be addressed immediately. 

Renovations And Expansions

If you’ve renovated or are planning to expand your operation, you may have to upgrade your fire alarm system anyway. For one, your old system may not work in the new configuration or it may not meet requirements to be up to code. What’s most important is that you have a fire alarm system that meets the needs of your new space and protects it as much as possible.
