The Globe Technologies G450A is a 450°F (232°C) rated A-style fusible link, a shorter, high-load variant purpose-built for commercial kitchen range hood suppression systems rather than general duct or damper use. Its brass construction and high-strength symmetrical shape are designed to handle the heavier pull-cable loads common in hood suppression linkages, and it's available with 1/4" mounting holes to match standard range hood hardware. At 450°F it's suited to hoods and appliances that run hotter than the 165°F or 212°F links used elsewhere in the same product line.
