The Ademco/Honeywell Security 4193SNP is a V-Plex® Serialized Interface Module (SIM) designed to expand the capabilities of Honeywell VISTA security systems by adding two additional zones. This module enables the integration of conventional hardwired contact devices into the V-Plex polling loop, converting them into addressable devices for enhanced system flexibility and monitoring. 

Key Features:

• Two-Zone Expansion: Provides one supervised and one unsupervised zone, allowing for the connection of various detection devices such as door/window contacts, motion detectors, glass break detectors, and smoke/heat detectors. 

• V-Plex Compatibility: Utilizes Honeywell’s V-Plex polling loop technology, enabling the connection of conventional devices to the VISTA system without the need for additional wiring or complex configurations. 

• Automatic Device Addressing: Features a built-in serial number for automatic device addressing, eliminating the need for manual DIP switch settings and simplifying installation. 

• Compact Design: Its small size allows it to fit easily into most sensing detector enclosures or splice boxes, facilitating flexible installation options.
