The Amerex 05152 is a cylinder hydrostatic-test adapter used by licensed service technicians to pressure-test Amerex wheeled dry chemical, Halon 1211, Halotron I, and SF-1230 agent cylinders as part of their required periodic re-testing. Fitted to the cylinder valve opening, it lets the tester apply the standardized test pressure without damaging the valve threads.

- Purpose-built cylinder-side hydro-test fitting, not a general-purpose adapter
- Also used as the hydro-test adapter for the KP Model 600 recharge cylinder in Amerex restaurant fire suppression systems
