The Amerex 06212 is a downtube-and-retainer assembly used inside the aluminum-valve dry chemical extinguishers built on the B402, B453, B479, and B500 valve bodies. The downtube carries agent from the bottom of the cylinder up to the valve, and the retainer keeps it seated against the valve body so the unit discharges its full capacity instead of losing pressure around a loose tube.
