The Amerex 09988-001 is a genuine OEM dust boot that fits over the manual nitrogen actuator button used to trigger Amerex's dry chemical and ICS industrial and vehicle fire suppression systems. The flexible boot seals the actuator's internal mechanism against dust, grease, and moisture in a harsh engine-bay or industrial environment while still flexing enough for an operator to press the palm button through it during a manual system activation.
