The Amerex 13050 is the detector linkage - sometimes called the "scissor" - in an Amerex Industrial Systems fusible-link detector bracket assembly. It mounts between the detector bracket and a pair of EMT fittings, holding the fusible link and a continuous mechanical cable run under tension; once the fusible link melts at its rated temperature, the linkage releases that tension so the cable pulls the system's actuator and discharges the suppression agent.
