The Amerex 14088 is a 350°F spot heat detector (thermostat module) used in Amerex vehicle fire suppression systems to sense a fire at a specific location and trigger the system's discharge. Mounted at a likely ignition point on the vehicle, the sensor's contacts close once the surrounding temperature reaches its 350°F set point, sending the alarm/actuation signal to the control unit.
