The Amerex 16192 is the Screening (SCR) nozzle used in the Amerex IS Industrial Dry Chemical Fire Suppression System, purpose-built for open-front paint spray booths. An open-front booth can't be fully flooded like an enclosed one, so the SCR nozzle discharges a curtain of dry chemical across the open face of the booth, blocking fire from escaping while the plenum and work-area nozzles suppress the interior at the same time.
