The Amerex 16226 is a 286°F Job-style quick response fusible link used in the mechanical detection network of an Amerex KP commercial-kitchen fire suppression system. It is Amerex's lowest standard temperature rating in the Job-style line, intended for detector locations that need to trip earlier - such as ductwork closer to ambient kitchen air - releasing the tensioned detection cable as soon as the solder pellet reaches its melting point to fire the system.
