The Amerex 5240 (factory part number 05240-P) is a collar O-ring used on the brass valve of several Amerex extinguisher lines, including the 5-30 lb. dry chemical brass-valve models (B424, B461, B441, B460, 423, 415, 692, 693), the Water Mist models, and the 50 lb. wheeled units (495, 497). It seals the valve collar against the cylinder neck and is a standard replacement during valve or cylinder service.
