The Amerex 12508 is a heat-detector bracket kit for Amerex's IS (Industrial System) cable-actuated fire suppression systems, comprising a detector bracket (P/N 11997), detector linkage (P/N 13050), and two EMT conduit fittings (P/N 12768); the fusible link itself is ordered separately. The bracket anchors to a rigid surface and supports the linkage, which holds a continuous actuation cable under tension until the fusible link separates at its rated temperature, releasing the cable and triggering the suppression system.
