The Amerex A12738 is the manufacturer's Setup/Lockout Tool (P/N 12738), fitted over the manual pull cam housing of an Amerex MRM or PRM releasing mechanism to prevent accidental actuation of a kitchen fire suppression system during setup, inspection, or maintenance. The technician draws tension onto the pull cable through the connector until the link plate seats against the tool, then tightens the connector's set screw before removing the tool and testing the cable run.
