The Amerex A13288 is a genuine OEM valve stem assembly with a green safety seal, built for the brass valve used on Amerex's larger Halotron I clean-agent extinguishers - the 11 lb. model 397 and 15.5 lb. model 398. The stem seats inside the valve body and lifts off its seal when the lever is depressed, releasing the pressurized Halotron I agent through the valve and out the hose; the green seal color is Amerex's internal marker distinguishing this stem from the aluminum-valve version used on the smaller Halotron models.
