The Amerex 13600 is a valve stem assembly used inside the discharge valve of Amerex KP restaurant fire suppression Model 275, 375, and 475 agent tanks. It seats against the valve's piston and stainless-steel spring to hold the cylinder sealed under pressure until the system actuates, at which point it opens to release the KP wet-chemical agent through the tank's gauge-monitored valve.
