The Amerex A14878 is a genuine OEM valve stem assembly for Amerex's Wet Chemical (Class K) extinguisher line, fitting the 6 liter and 2.5 gallon models (B260, B260CG, B262, B262CG and their C-series stainless equivalents). Depressing the valve lever lifts this stem off its seat so the pressurized wet chemical agent can travel out through the hose and nozzle onto a Class K cooking-oil or grease fire.
