The Amerex 15943 is a downtube and retainer assembly for Amerex's 2.5-gallon water and foam fire extinguishers, fitting Models 240, 250, and 252, as well as the 272-series water mist units (272, B272, 272NM, B272CG). Mounted inside the cylinder, the downtube channels agent from the bottom of the tank up to the discharge valve when the extinguisher is operated.
