The Amerex A1772 is a genuine OEM discharge horn for Amerex's 5 lb. carbon dioxide extinguisher models 322 and 322NM. The horn attaches to the discharge tube and shapes the CO2 as it expands from a pressurized liquid into a cold, expanding cloud of gas and dry-ice snow aimed at the fire, while its extended, non-conductive design keeps the operator's hand away from the extremely cold discharge tube during use.
