The Amerex A331 is a 15 lb. carbon dioxide (CO2) fire extinguisher built for Class B and C hazards where a clean, non-conductive agent matters, such as electrical rooms and equipment where dry chemical residue would cause damage. CO2 smothers the fire by displacing oxygen and leaves no residue, gauge, or cleanup behind, which is why it's specified around live electrical gear and sensitive equipment instead of an ABC unit.
