The Amerex A4000 is a genuine OEM safety disc, gasket, and nut assembly for Amerex's 5 lb. carbon dioxide extinguisher models 322 and 322NM. This overpressure-relief assembly is built into the valve body and is designed to rupture and vent the cylinder if internal CO2 pressure ever rises beyond the design limit, protecting the extinguisher from an uncontrolled pressure failure.
