The Amerex A762 (Model 762) is a 20 lb. high-flow Purple K dry chemical fire extinguisher rated 60B:C, built for fast knockdown of Class B flammable-liquid and pressurized-gas fires common in oil, gas, chemical, and utility work. Purple K agent is electrically non-conductive, and the unit discharges through a hose and nozzle at roughly 1.08 lbs. per second over a 15-25 foot range for about 20 seconds.
