The Amerex A808 is a red vehicle/marine mounting bracket built for Amerex's smaller 6 lb. and 9 lb. fire extinguishers, designed to hold the cylinder securely in a truck cab, boat, or other mobile installation where a standard wall hanger isn't practical. Unlike a simple hook-style wall hanger, a vehicle/marine bracket clamps and restrains the cylinder against vibration and impact during transit.
