The Amerex 861H is a heavy-duty steel bracket, finished in red powder coat, built to mount 5 lb. fire extinguishers in vehicles, marine vessels, and industrial equipment. It uses a steel retention strap rather than rubber, giving it a higher vibration and load rating than Amerex's standard 860 rubber-strap bracket, and its red finish is rated to withstand 240 hours of 20% salt-spray exposure (ASTM B117) for marine use.
