The Amerex 862 uses two adjustable rubber straps plus a steel base rod, rather than a rigid box, to hold 5 and 10-lb extinguishers with a 4.25" to 6.25" cylinder diameter — a three-point grip that lets the same bracket accommodate a small range of cylinder sizes, with replacement straps sold separately if they ever wear out. It's finished in red powder coat rated to the same 240-hour, 20% salt-solution ASTM B117 test as Amerex's box-type brackets.
