The Ansul 13708 is an electrically-operated gas shut-off valve sized for 1 in. pipe, used with Ansul R-102 restaurant kitchen fire suppression systems to automatically cut gas supply to cooking appliances when the system activates. It's wired into the R-102's electric release circuit so gas is shut off the moment the suppression system discharges, without relying on any separate control logic.
