The Ansul 30464 is a nozzle assembly built for Ansul's MET-L-X and LITH-X combustible-metal (Class D) dry powder agents, fitted to the 30 lb cartridge-operated MX-30 extinguisher body. Because MET-L-X/LITH-X powder is coarser than standard ABC or BC dry chemical, this nozzle uses a different bore than the standard 30 lb nozzle assembly (part 30778) to properly meter the Class D agent onto burning combustible metals.
