The Ansul 30778 is a nozzle assembly used on Ansul's Red Line 30 lb cartridge-operated dry chemical fire extinguishers, covering the 30, K-30, A-30, LT-30, LT-K-30, and LT-A-30 model variants. It threads onto the extinguisher hose and directs the pressurized dry chemical agent released when the cartridge is punctured and the discharge lever is engaged.
