The Ansul 4108 is the spring pin that links the cartridge receiver's actuating link to its puncture lever on Ansul RED LINE cartridge-operated fire extinguishers. When the extinguisher's handle is squeezed, the link pulls on the puncture lever, and this pin is what keeps the link engaged with the lever so that motion reliably drives the puncture pin into the CO2/nitrogen cartridge to pressurize the shell.
