The Ansul 43241 is a DPDT (double-pole, double-throw) pneumatically-operated pressure switch in an explosion-proof, malleable-iron housing, used with Ansul agent release systems. It latches when nitrogen pressure from the system's AUTOMAN release or a remote pneumatic actuator reaches the switch, and its contacts can then shut down equipment such as pump motors, exhaust fans, or conveyors, or turn on alarms and electric door closures at the moment of system discharge.
