The Ansul 438031 is the new-style lock pin used with the R-102 Automan cocking lever assembly (part numbers 441041 and 441042) on Ansul restaurant kitchen fire suppression systems. Once the cocking lever has re-armed the Automan's spring-loaded release mechanism after a discharge, this pin locks it in the cocked position so the system can't fire accidentally before it's put back in service.
