The Ansul 449287 is a rubber nozzle blow-off cap for Ansul LVS liquid agent vehicle fire suppression systems, sold in packages of 50. Fitted over each nozzle, the cap keeps dirt and grease out of the discharge opening during normal operation and blows off cleanly under system pressure the moment the LVS agent is released, so it never blocks discharge in a real fire.
