The Ansul 5151 is an O-ring used on the pneumatic piston and puncture-pin assembly of Ansul vehicle fire suppression systems. It seals the piston bore so gas pressure builds correctly when the system actuates, driving the puncture pin into the expellant cartridge seal, and is replaced during recharge or inspection whenever the original O-ring has hardened.
