The Ansul 550603 Gas Valve Box Assembly (GVB) is a red enclosure used on Ansul Kitchen Knight II (KKII) and Monarch pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems. It houses and protects the mechanical gas shutoff valve so that, when the system discharges, the enclosed valve is mechanically closed to cut fuel supply to the cooking appliances under the hood.
