The Apollo 45681-217APO Deckhead Mounting Box is a protective enclosure that shields Apollo detector bases and sounder or sounder-visual indicator bases from water and liquid ingress. It screws directly to a soffit or deckhead and accepts a range of Apollo bases, making it a common choice for marine and other exposed ceiling-mount installations.

- Six cable access ports sized for M20 cable glands
- Secured to the mounting surface through two 5.4 mm fixing holes in the webs
- Compatible with an optional extension sleeve (for heater/deep bases) or adaptor ring (for sounder/beacon/sounder-beacon bases), sold as accessory kit 45681-218
