The Apollo 55000-600APO is an XP95 analog addressable optical smoke detector that uses the light-scatter principle to sense slow-burning and smouldering fires. Because the detection electronics live in the head rather than the base, it pairs with an electronics-free base and reports a continuous analog value back to the control panel over the XP95 loop, letting the panel apply its own alarm and pre-alarm thresholds.
