The Apollo 6010-300 (marketed under the Fireray product line) is a reflective infrared beam smoke detector used to protect large open areas — warehouses, atriums, and auditoriums — where spot-type smoke detectors would be impractical. A single unit projects a beam across the protected space to a reflector, detecting smoke that obscures the beam over long distances.
