The Apollo SA5500-450APO is an XP95A analog addressable heat detector that reports a continuous temperature-based signal to the fire alarm panel using a single thermistor sensor. Because it responds to heat rather than smoke, it's well suited to warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and other spaces that are routinely dirty or smoky under normal operating conditions and would cause nuisance alarms on a smoke detector.
