The Apollo SA5800-450APO is a Discovery/Soteria UL heat detector that monitors ambient temperature with a single thermistor, producing a voltage output proportional to the surrounding air temperature and reporting an alarm through Apollo's addressable protocol. It's built for the Soteria UL device range but stays backward compatible with legacy Discovery UL installations, so it can go into an existing Discovery UL system without a base change.
