The Autocall 4098-5214 is an addressable duct sensor housing that accepts a separately ordered A4098-5252 MX Technology photoelectric sensor, giving early warning of smoke moving through HVAC ducts. Air is pulled into the housing through a duct-width-matched sampling tube and discharged back into the duct through an exhaust tube, while the sensor communicates its analog readings to the host panel's MX Loop Module, where Autocall's MX Fastlogic algorithm weighs smoke density, rate of change, and real-fire pattern data before deciding on an alarm.
