Ditek DTK-2MHLP24FWB

The Ditek DTK-2MHLP24FWB is a 24V, 2-pair modular surge protector for signaling circuits on fire alarm and life-safety systems, supplied on a hardwired Snap-Track base for direct field installation. It uses a hybrid protection design combining a silicon avalanche diode (SAD) with a gas discharge tube (GDT), and rather than simply clamping a surge, it opens the circuit once the protection element has been compromised so a failed module can't pass a fault through to the equipment behind it. The surge module itself is field-replaceable, so a technician can swap it on the base without re-terminating any wiring.
