The Ditek DTK-2MHLP48BWB is a 48V, 2-pair hybrid surge protection module for low-voltage circuits, supplied on a hardwired Snap-Track base for direct field installation. It shares its protection design with the rest of Ditek's 2MHLP series, combining a silicon avalanche diode (SAD) with a gas discharge tube (GDT), and it opens the circuit once the protection element has been compromised rather than continuing to pass a fault through to connected equipment. The module itself is field-replaceable on the base, and the Snap-Track mounting system lets installers expand a single common-ground run to cover additional circuit pairs.
