The DSC WS4945N is a normally open wireless door and window contact sensor operating at 433 MHz, designed for integration with DSC wireless receivers and compatible control systems to provide intrusion detection on entry points. Unlike the standard WS4945 (normally closed), the WS4945N features a normally open reed switch configuration, making it suitable for applications where an open circuit indicates normal operation and alarm closure signals a breach, with pre-installed battery activation and dual tamper detection.
