The Edwards 1000-018 is a protective wire cage for the Fireray 3000 (C3000) and Fireray 5000 beam-detector heads, shielding the optical detector from accidental physical damage. It mounts onto the Fireray 5000-011 surface-mount uni-box alongside the 3000-202 detector, per Edwards' assembly instruction sheet 24-0032-04.
