Edwards 2-DACT-RC

The Edwards 2-DACT-RC is a dual-line Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT) designed to mount directly onto the main control board of an Edwards EST2 fire alarm control panel. It sends alarm, supervisory, and trouble signals from the panel to a compatible central monitoring station over the public switched telephone network, giving the EST2 panel automatic offsite reporting without a separate standalone dialer. The 2-DACT-RC is the current replacement for the earlier DL2 dialer module in EST2 installations, following the same mounting and wiring provisions.
