The Edwards 270A-SPO is a single-action, break-glass manual fire alarm pull station from the Edwards 270 Series, terminated with 6-inch wire leads (the "A" suffix marks the wire-lead variant of the 270 series, as opposed to the screw-terminal version). The user breaks an internal glass rod to activate the station, which then latches its single-pole, open-circuit contact in alarm until a technician resets it with the correct key -- a design that resists accidental activation in normal foot traffic.
