Edwards 3-MODCOMP

The Edwards 3-MODCOMP is a modem/communicator (DACT) module with an added pager interface for EST3 fire alarm control panels. In addition to all the modem and dialer functions of the 3-MODCOM, it can dial directly into paging systems using Telelocator Alphanumeric Protocol (TAP), sending alphanumeric system data to a single pager or group of pagers.

• Includes all modem and dialer (DACT) functions of the 3-MODCOM, plus TAP paging support

• Supervises two loop-start telephone lines via a modular jack
• Occupies a single local rail space and can be mounted at any node on the network
• Enters a degraded operational mode and notifies the central monitoring station if the network CPU fails, continuing to transmit a default alarm message
