The Edwards EST3 3-CPU1 is a central processor module that controls communications and information processing for all modules located in its cabinet, as well as token-ring network communications to CPU modules in other cabinets. It is an earlier-generation EST3 processor board, since discontinued and succeeded by the 3-CPU3, and is typically sourced today as a like-for-like replacement for existing EST3 installations still running the original processor.
