The Edwards FX-RLY is an analog addressable relay module that gives one point on the signaling line circuit a Form C dry relay contact, letting the fire alarm system control an external appliance or shut down equipment on command. Device address is set in the field with two rotary switches on the front of the module, and it ships configured as a relay/non-silence device type that can be wired either as a straight control relay or, with polarity reversed, as a polarity-reversal relay for devices like door holders.
