The Edwards XAL53 is a Genesis Series hazardous location manual pull station rated explosionproof for use in classified areas where a standard indoor pull station isn't rated to operate. It uses a double-action (lift cover, then pull) mechanism to reduce accidental activation and switches a single-pole contact to signal an alarm to the connected fire alarm control panel.
