The Edwards ZA8-2-RC is reconditioned stock of the ZA8-2, a conventional zone card that adds eight Class A initiating/notification circuits to an Edwards conventional fire alarm control panel. Six of its eight circuits are dedicated initiating device circuits for wiring 2-wire smoke detectors and dry-contact devices, and the remaining two circuits can be converted to notification appliance circuits when the panel needs conventional horn/strobe outputs instead of extra input zones.
